Vårt fina projekt!

Gylle Skolan Borlänge

Future Project: Gylle School Borlänge, Sweden ‘Color identity’ was the keyword when Swedish architecture company White Arkitekter started developing the Gylle School in Borlänge, Sweden for 1200 students aged 6 to 16. Lower, middle and upper grades will get their own building. Four colors and two shades were chosen from a wide selection of GreenCoat ® colors and shades: green, blue, red and yellow. The exterior cladding’s colors will be repeated in the interior to create cohesion and security. “The GreenCoat® colors improved the identity”, says Anders Medin from White. The roofs will be cladded with standing seams, and the gables with sinusoidal profiles, all in sustainable GreenCoat® color coated steel. The construction of Gylle School has started and will take 5 years. Already this autumn, the red building will be the first in use. We love when a colorful choice also has a purpose. We will continue to follow this amazing 20 000 m2 GreenCoat® project.
